Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat size hole do I need to make in the surface (e.g worktop) that I am mounting my Evoline in? You need a 102mm diameter hole to fit an evoline port. If you need a hole-saw checkout our accessories section.
How fast can I expect to receive my order? All items have a delivery time estimate stated next to the price. Most models are delivered free next day to any UK location.
Do you guarantee Evolines? We will personally honour our manufacturers 12 month guarantee. In the unlikely event that your unit develops a fault we will replace it free of charge. All we ask is that you send back your faulty item with your order details for inspection. If it is found to be faulty we will also refund your return delivery cost. Can't say fairer than that!
Can I install an Evoline into granite, stainless steel, composite stone or other surface? You can install an Evoline into any solid surface which you can make a 102mm hole in. If you are having a stone worktop ask your supplier to make a 102mm diameter hole at least 50mm away from any edge.
Do the units plug straight into a mains socket or should they be hard-wired to a spur? Either. All units are supplied with a plug so you can plug them straight in to an existing socket or remove the plug and hard-wire the unit to a fused spur.
How long does it take to fit an Evoline system? These units are designed with simplicity in mind and can usually be fitted in under 10 minutes. Simply drill a 102mm hole, drop the unit in place and screw the collar up to fix it in place from underneath. You then tighten some small screws from the collar to the mounted surface to prevent the collar from coming loose.
Does the Evoline 'pop-up' automatically? NO. These devices are manufactured to exact standard that produce a firm and positive sliding motion that enables the unit to remain fixed at any position required. When fully extended the unit will 'click' to provide additional support in the 'up' position.
How exactly does an Evoline port operate? From a retracted position you would push gently on the metal disk and tip it. Placing your fingers under the rim of the lid you lift the device up to expose the power/data outlets. The unit can be opened to expose one or all of the outlets. You would plug your device into the power/data unit and either continue using the device in the open position or return the device to the retracted position. Once retraced the top remain in the tipped position allowing any connected cables to remain in place and slightly gripped to prevent loosening.
If I am not happy with the device or change my mind can I send it back? Yes. We are so confident you will be happy we will not charge you a restocking fee or charge you for delivery. All we ask is that you send it back unused, undamaged and within 30 days.
Why is the 2 socket version more than the 3 socket? Currently we sell many more of the 3 socket version and can therefore negotiate a better price from the manufacturer.
